8 September 2006, the team set off to Sembawang, to search for an abandoned house at Kampung Wak Hassan. Thx to some late comers, I mean really late, we had to wait for 2 hrs before we can make our move there. One of the team members, Farouq, got an info that there's something good up there at Kampung Wak Hassan, so we decided to find it.

Surprisingly, there's plenty of sign showing where Kampung Wak Hassan is when we're on the bus. We didn't know at first that Kampung Wak Hassan is a residential area to begin with. Alighted at Sembawang Park and thus we begin our mission. Anyways, here's the vid of us getting ready to go.

If you bother to watch the vid, its obviously pitch black. We had no idea where we're headed, Farouq was trying frantically to call his fren and get some directions. Well, after a few mins of asking, he led us through this secluded beach. Its a beautiful sight indeed, except for some garbage lying around. We had to cross a little stream, which leads to a big drain of some sort.

We found this object at the secluded beach. Wonder what it is...

After crossing the stream, we heard dogs barking at us. Well, as expected, some of em got scared and ran off back a little before some of the experienced onces shouted at them to hold still. We grab some sticks just in case and guess what. It turns out to be some little cute puppies. Hahaha... Damn, they got us really good there. I got nothing to say to those who were running...

After a while, we came across a small forest and we found some sort of a shrine.

Found this one hiding behind a tree...

Some of us at the back spotted a tombstone in the middle of the forest. I wanted to grab a pic or 2 but the other group in front told us to hurry up. Try as I might at my current position, I'm afraid its too far for my digi cam to get a clear pic.

Apparently, we got lost, Farouq had no idea where he's leading us. Instead of heading towards our destination, we ended up at a small jetty, where some anglers are chilling around while waiting for the fish to bite. We took a break and took some group photos, check em out.

We resumed exploring, this time we retraced our steps and into the forest once again. We came across a kampung house, where its still inhabited and so we figured we're at the right track. Unfortunately, after half an hour of walking down the road there's nothing which can be classified under abandoned house. Since we had no lead and Farouq have no idea as well, we decided to call it a day.
